About Shamile Morgan MA, RPSGT LPC

Shamile Morgan, MA, RPSGT LPC, is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist,

Elereoneurodiagnostic technician and Licensed Professional Counselor. Shamile

has 20 years of experience caring for individuals of all ages in hospital and private practice

settings, but her passion is assisting children and families with proper diagnosis and

treatment. She was trained in electroencephalography as well as nerve conduction. She

has assisted in research on sympathetic skin response with patients with Alzheimer’s disease

as well as Transcranial stimulation.

Shamile first began her studies at Houston Baptist University, where she completed her Bachelor

of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Child Development. Shamile completed

undergraduate internships in Katy Independent School District as well as at Methodist Hospital as a patient advocate. Shamile returned to Houston Baptist University with an alumni scholarship and completed her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology.  She completed coursework in diagnostic testing, statistics, measurement, and appraisal. Shamile completed her graduate school internship at Krause Children’s Hospital in Katy, TX.

Shamile has special interests in sleep disorders, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delay, developmental disorders, genetics, Transcranial stimulation, anxiety disorders, depression, and achieving educational equality for children with special educational needs. 

​

In her spare time, Shamile enjoys spending time with family and volunteering.
