Amee Moreno, DNP, APRN, CPNP PC/AC is a Certified Primary and Acute Care Pediatric Nurse

Practitioner. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas Medical.

Branch then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing with a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse.

Practitioner focus at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Post-Graduate Acute Care Pediatric

Nurse Practitioner at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, and Doctor of Nursing Practice at The

University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. 

She began her nursing career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, then in Neurosurgery and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she was honored to receive the Department of Surgery Nurse Practitioner of the Year award in 2016. Her clinical interests include pediatric traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, and mental health disorders.

Amee has five children of her own and loves spending time with her family. She enjoys being outside and riding horses.
