Board-certified pediatric neurologist Joshua Rotenberg, MD, has advanced expertise in epilepsy, brain injuries, and sleep disorders. Dr. Rotenberg provides family-centered pediatric neurology care for patients from infancy through early adulthood.

Epilepsy is a common brain disorder that causes recurrent seizures. Dr. Rotenberg specializes in treating childhood epilepsy as well as seizures in newborns and febrile seizures

A fall, accident, or blow to the head can cause a concussion or traumatic brain injury. Birth Injuries and stroke causing cerebral palsy are examples of a non-traumatic brain injury.

Dr. Rotenberg evaluates and treats delayed development in speech, language, movement, and thinking abilities. He also treats developmental disabilities, including:

What is an epileptologist?

Pediatric neurology is a specialized area of medicine that focuses on treating children who have nervous system disorders. Problems with the nervous system can originate in the brain, spinal cord, nerves, or muscles. 
 

An epileptologist has advanced training and certificationfor diagnosing and treating epilepsy. Dr. Rotenberg is a board-certified epileptologist. He offers EEG, video EEG when needed, management of vagus nerve stimulators and oversight of ketogenic diet. Dr. Rotenberg has extensive experience with cannabinoids such as Epidiolex.​
